Essays & Text You Submit

• We don't store your essays. Like, at all.
• When you upload an essay to False Flag Fixer™, it gets scanned in real time and then disappears. We don't save it. We don't store it. We can't access it later. It's gone the second you close the tab.
• The only thing we hang onto? Anonymous scan data — like your Sus Score and which words got flagged. That's it. No essays. No personal info. Just vibes.
• Bottom line: Your writing stays yours. Always.

Payment Information

• When you subscribe to Pro or QuickFix, Paddle processes your payment
• We do NOT store your credit card information. Paddle handles all payment data
• We may receive your email address from Paddle for billing/subscription management

Service Usage

• We may log basic information like:
• When you used the Service
• How many scans you performed
• General error messages (to fix bugs)

We do NOT log the content of your essays

Device & Access Information

• IP address (temporary, for security purposes)
• Browser type
• General location (country/region level only)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve the Service
• Process your subscription payments (via Paddle)
• Send you billing confirmations and support emails
• Fix bugs and prevent fraud
• Comply with legal obligations

We do NOT:

• Sell your data to third parties
• Use your essays for training AI models
• Share your data with anyone except Paddle and Anthropic (who process your requests)
• Track you across other websites

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Paddle

• Processes all payments for Pro and QuickFix tiers

Anthropic

• Processes essay analysis through Claude Haiku API
• Your essay text is sent to Anthropic's servers for analysis, then deleted
• Anthropic's Privacy Policy: https://www.anthropic.com/privacy

Important: When you use False Flag Fixer™, your essay text may be transmitted to Anthropic's servers for AI analysis. Anthropic does not store your essays for training purposes. See Anthropic's privacy policy for full details.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) to protect data transmitted to our servers. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We are not responsible for unauthorized access due to factors outside our control.

6. Data Retention

• Essays: Not stored at all. They're processed in real time and never saved to our servers.
• Payment Information: Retained by Paddle(see Paddle's retention policy)
• Usage Logs: Retained for up to 90 days for troubleshooting
• Email Addresses: Retained as long as you have an active subscription

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Know what data we have about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of non-essential communications
• Access your subscription and billing information

False Flag Fixer™ is provided by False Flag Fixer, a Bermuda-based service.

2. Description of Service

False Flag Fixer™ is a tool that analyzes essays for patterns commonly flagged by AI detection systems like Turnitin, GPTZero, and Originality AI.

What False Flag Fixer™ Does:

• Scans essays for AI trigger words and patterns
• Provides explanations for why phrases trigger detection
• Suggests alternatives to flagged phrases
• Re-analyzes essays after fixes (Pro/QuickFix tiers only)

What False Flag Fixer™ Does NOT Do:

• Guarantee 100% accuracy in predicting how Turnitin will score your essay
• Write or rewrite your essays for you
• Help you pass off AI-generated work as human-written
• Store your essay content

3. Acceptable Use

By using False Flag Fixer™, you agree that you:

✅ You CAN:

• Use the Service to analyze essays you wrote yourself
• Learn about AI detection patterns
• Share results with your professor or teacher
• Use it to improve your writing

❌ You CANNOT:

• Use the Service to help pass off AI-generated work as human-written
• Circumvent academic integrity policies
• Violate your school's honor code or conduct policies
• Use the Service for academic dishonesty
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service
• Scrape or automate the Service without permission
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose

Violation of these terms may result in permanent account termination without refund.

4. User Accounts & Subscriptions

Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information. You agree to provide accurate information during registration.

Subscription Terms

• Free Tier: 3 scans per day, no payment required
• QuickFix Tier: $1.99 one-time charge for auto-fix + re-analysis
• Pro Tier: $9.99/month, billed monthly, 100 scans per month

Billing

• Payments are processed by Paddle
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
• You can cancel anytime through your account settings

Refunds

No refunds are offered. You have full access to the Service before paying. If you choose to upgrade to Pro or QuickFix, you are confirming you understand what you're purchasing.

5. Intellectual Property

False Flag Fixer™ and its content (including the database of AI trigger words, detection algorithms, and analysis results) are protected by intellectual property laws.

• You retain ownership of any essays you submit
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service or its content
• You may not claim the Service's technology as your own

6. Limitation of Liability

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

• Changes to Turnitin's algorithm or other AI detection systems
• Inability to predict how any AI detector will score your specific essay
• False negatives (we miss some patterns) or false positives (we flag things incorrectly)
• Any grades, academic standing, or consequences resulting from using the Service
• Unauthorized access to your account due to weak passwords or compromised devices
• Third-party service outages (Paddle, Anthropic, etc.)
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Maximum Liability: We are not liable for damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

False Flag Fixer is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• 100% accuracy in detecting AI patterns
• That Turnitin or other systems will flag exactly what we predict
• That the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• That the Service will meet your expectations

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Attempt to use the Service for academic dishonesty
• Attempt to hack or abuse the Service
• Repeatedly violate academic integrity policies
• Engage in any illegal activity

Termination is at our sole discretion and may be permanent.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit essays you did not write yourself
• Use False Flag Fixer™ to help others cheat
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or hack the Service
• Overload the servers with excessive requests
• Harass, threaten, or abuse our team
• Post false claims about the Service
• Violate any applicable laws

10. Payment Terms

• Payments are non-refundable
• Pro subscriptions renew automatically
• You are responsible for keeping your payment information current
• Failed payments may result in service suspension
• Refunds for technical issues are handled on a case-by-case basis

11. Academic Integrity

We assume you are using False Flag Fixer ethically. The Service is designed for students who write their own work and want to avoid false positives.

If you use False Flag Fixer™ to help pass off AI-generated essays as your own, you are:

• Violating your school's honor code
• Committing academic fraud
• Taking full responsibility for consequences

False Flag Fixer is not liable for your academic consequences.

12. DMCA & Copyright

2. Accuracy Limitations

We cannot guarantee:

• How Turnitin or other AI detectors will score your specific essay
• 100% accuracy in identifying all AI patterns
• That our analysis matches Turnitin's analysis exactly
• That we catch every AI trigger or pattern

Why?

• Turnitin's algorithm is proprietary and secret
• Algorithms change and evolve over time
• Every essay is different
• Edge cases exist that no tool can catch

Our Pro tier achieves 85-90% accuracy based on our analysis, but this is NOT a guarantee.

3. Academic Integrity

You are responsible for:
